Project Details

  • Completion of the development of a new software product in collaboration with a launch customer.
  • ERP system for the licence and contact management of media titles, including a CRM and sales system, material management system
  • Management of the final development phase and the product launch for the first customer.

Responsibilities during project phases

Phase 1

Development Phase

Management of completion of the software scope, management of the development team, provisioning of iterations, management of quality assurance

Phase 2

Go Live

Development of end user trainings, management of guided end user acceptance tests and formal approval of software, 

Phase 3

Hot Maintenance & Operations

Implementation of feedback loops and user acceptance iterations, setup of user support system and processes.

Challenges

  • Coordination of the testing and approval process with different departments involved
  • Removal of blockers for final approval and Go Live
  • Delivery of remaining functionalities and user feedback implementation under time pressure
  • Focus on measures to achieve a high user acceptance during and after Go Live phase

The solution included guided end user tests, regular feedback loops, end user trainings for the different departments and a intensive support phase after Go Live.
